The design, explained

Bluecollar is designed for the buying psychology of a homeowner with water where it should not be: they want evidence of competence, fast. The layout leads with the institutional facts, license, bonding, years served, response time, and only then starts selling.

The visual language is deliberately conservative. A union-blue and navy system with brass accents reads civic and permanent, like a company with its name on the side of a fleet. Motion stays at Tier 1: gentle reveals and counter animations that add life without ever undermining the steady-hands impression.

Structurally it is a true multi-page system. Service departments each get a pathway, service areas get an SEO-ready directory, and the estimate form is cut to three fields because every extra input on a trades site is a lost call.

Everything included

  • Institutional hero with license number and years-in-business badges
  • Service department grid: repair, drain, water heater, remodel pathways
  • Animated proof counters: jobs completed, trucks on the road, average rating
  • Team roster section with certification callouts
  • Guarantee band with plain-language warranty terms
  • Service-area directory built for local SEO
  • Estimate request form with three fields, nothing more

The conversion system

  • Call and estimate-request CTAs paired in the hero and repeated per department
  • Licenses, bonding, and insurance surfaced before the first ask
  • Guarantee band pre-handling the risk objection
  • Short-form estimate request to keep friction near zero

Why it works

  • Reads established on first paint, the design does the reputation work
  • Department structure scales from three services to thirty without redesign
  • Trust signals are structural, not decorative, so credibility survives a skim
  • Static build keeps every page instant, including deep service pages

Best for

  • Plumbing, septic, and mechanical contractors with multiple service lines
  • Family businesses that compete on reputation rather than price
  • Trades that need a durable multi-page site instead of a single funnel
